Welcome to Midland Farm

Two centuries of stories.
Yours is next.

Tucked into the rolling hunt country of Orange County, Virginia, Midland Farm has stood watch over the Rapidan countryside since 1786. Today the estate is a working horse farm and a gathering place, where ceremonies unfold on the front lawn beneath white columns, and receptions glow under tents strung with lights on the back lawn.

We host a small number of weddings each year, so every couple has the farm, and our full attention, entirely to themselves.

Ceremonies on the front lawn, tented receptions for up to 200 guests on the back lawn, and pastures, groves, and open Virginia sky in every direction.

A Working Horse Farm

Race horses graze the fences, the farm hums with life, and five bedrooms of on-site lodging keep your closest people near for the whole celebration.
